ACDB and DCDB

DCDB (DC Distribution Board):

The DCDB is installed between the solar panels and the inverter. It combines the DC output from multiple solar strings and provides protection through fuses, surge protection devices (SPDs), and isolators. This helps in safely managing the direct current before it reaches the inverter.

ACDB (AC Distribution Board):

The ACDB is connected between the inverter and the load/grid. It distributes alternating current to various loads and includes essential safety features like MCBs, MCCBs, SPDs, and energy meters. It ensures controlled and protected power flow to appliances or the main grid.
